Dr. Andrea Zavatto

She was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She joined MJE Comercio Exterior in 2015 and has been a Managing Partner since 2022. She is also a Partner at MJE International Trade and Consulting Services LLC (United States) and General Director of the global Dumping Experts community.
She is an attorney graduated from the University of Buenos Aires (2009), with a specialization in tax law, and completed the postgraduate program “Advanced Program in Customs and Integration Law” at the same university. She served as Clerk at Chamber G for Customs Matters of the National Tax Court (2007–2009) and was a member of Imposti, Palacio & Boiero Abogados (2009–2014), where she provided representation and legal advisory services to leading national and multinational companies in customs, tax, and foreign exchange matters before the Argentine Customs Authority and the National Judiciary.
She is an international speaker and presenter at academic and business events, and the author of specialized articles. She is a member of the Argentine Institute of Customs Studies. (IAEA), and of the Argentine Association of Fiscal Studies (AAEF), the Buenos Aires Bar Association, and the Customs and International Trade Bar Association (CITBA – EE. UU.) and the Argentine–American Chamber of Commerce of Florida (AACC – EE. UU.).

Dr. Juan José Tubio

He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He joined MJE Comercio Exterior in 2017 and became a Partner in 2021. He is an Argentine attorney specialized in customs law and international trade, graduated from the University of Buenos Aires (2013) with a specialization in business law. He is also a Senior Customs Brokerage Technician, graduated with honors from the Private Institute of the Argentine Chamber of Commerce and Services.
He served as Clerk at Chamber G for Customs Matters of the National Tax Court (2012–2017). Since joining MJE Comercio Exterior, he has advised national and foreign companies on customs legal planning and strategy, and has provided training to companies on the temporary importation regime.
He is a speaker at academic events, a corporate trainer, and the author of specialized articles. He is a member of the Argentine Association of Fiscal Studies. (AAEF), the Argentine Institute of Customs Studies (IAEA) and the Buenos Aires Bar Association (CPACF).

She was born in Venezuela, joined the firm in 2018, and was admitted as a partner in 2023.
Engineer, Master in Business Management, with a specialization in marketing, administration, and finance.
She leads the firm’s administration and institutional positioning areas.
She is responsible for client operational coordination, project follow-up, management of strategic meetings, and development of digital content.
She leads the design and maintenance of websites, as well as the communication strategy on social media.

Carolina Mora

Dra. María José Etulain

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, she founded MJE Comercio Exterior in 2005 and served as its Director until 2022. She is currently the CEO of MJE Global USA and a founding partner of MJE Comercio Exterior Argentina.
She is an attorney graduated from the University of Belgrano and holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Business School of the Institute for Business Development of Argentina (IDEA). She is a Foreign Legal Consultant admitted to the Florida Bar (U.S.), with specialization in customs law, international trade, strategy, and the WTO legal system.
She has served as a technical and legal advisor in cases involving dumping, subsidies, and safeguards for the Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade of the Argentine Republic, coordinating governmental investigation teams on unfair international trade practices in goods, and as legal advisor to the Argentine delegation in Mercosur negotiations. She also served as a legal drafting attorney in the Legal Department of the Industry, Trade, and Mining Area of the Ministry of Economy. In private practice, she advises leading national and international companies on Argentine legal, strategic, tax, and foreign exchange matters applicable to the import and export of goods.
She is a university professor in the Import and Export course at the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the University of Belgrano, and has taught subjects related to international organizations and international trade at the same institution. A speaker at academic and business events in Argentina and abroad, she has been an invited presenter at forums and seminars on customs law, tax law, and international trade.
Author of specialized articles in academic journals and media outlets such as Buenos Aires Herald, La Nación and Ámbito Financiero. Es coautora del libro Impuestos Aduaneros (Argentina, 2021) y autora del libro WTO Anti-Dumping System. Didactic Text in Spanish (EE. UU., 2022).
She is a member of the International Academy of Customs Law (ICLA), the Argentine Institute of Customs Studies (IAEA), de la Asociación Argentina de Estudios Fiscales (AAEF), the Buenos Aires Bar Association (CPACF), de la Customs and International Trade Bar Association CITBA – EE. UU.), the Argentine–American Chamber of Commerce of Florida (AACC – EE. UU.). and the Christian Association of Business Leaders (ACDE – Argentina).
